Post-Retirement Webinar
Retirement is a time of substantial changes in lifestyle and outlook.
For some it is the realisation of a dream of freedom and leisure. For some it is a time of stress and challenge. As we contemplate the years ahead many issues become important. Thoughts turn to protecting and providing for loved ones. The prospect of illness and infirmity. Contemplating taking up pastimes and hobbies that keep us sharp.
This seminar is designed to give you information to make smart choices, now and for the future.
Also please remember your family are also invited to register and whilst this event is aimed at retired officers and their families most of the content will be applicable to all ages and situations.
What to expect?
During these challenging times we thought we would bring together some of our friends to help inform, educate and hopefully help you, in a practical way. We anticipate running the event from 10 am to around 1 pm with a couple of short breaks.
We will be covering a mixture of topics that we hope you will find of interest. Not only will we be presenting our own information on how Metfriendly how can help you and your family, we will also have presentations on:
- wills, trusts and estate planning
- careers after policing
- top tips on staying nimble from an Osteopath
- how to maintain mental resilience in these challenging times
- how an innovative start-up was established to help match plant growers with surplus stock with “locked down” gardeners – all thanks to Mum!
Expert panel – your chance to speak to the experts
We will be holding a Q&A session with our expert panel who regularly appear in the Money Matters pages of LPP:
Debbie McKnight from Lifetime Solicitors
