When withdrawing funds, when can I expect my money?

It is our policy to contact our members within 7 calendar days of receipt to discuss their surrender request and ensure we have all the necessary information we need to process it.

Can I withdraw my plan early?

Withdrawals are permitted* but penalties may apply. Please contact our Member Services Team who will be able to advise, on 01689 891454 or email [email protected].

*JISAs can only be withdrawn from the age 18, unless transferred to another JISA.  

Can I still pay into my plan(s) if I leave the Police Service?

You can still pay into your plan(s) if you leave the Police or retire via direct debit, or for lump sums or initial payment, by bank transfer to us at:

How can I top up my ISA?

It is possible to add additional lump sums into the following ISAs: 
Monthly Savings, Junior, Lifetime and Lump Sum.

How can I transfer an ISA or Child Trust Fund to Metfriendly?

You can transfer either your ISA or a Child Trust Fund (CTF) to Metfriendly by completing the transfer form, signing  and returning it to us.

Can I reinvest into another product?

If you have a G5YSP or long-term savings plan that is due to pay out, you can reinvest all or part into another Metfriendly product such as one of our ISAs. Please contact the Member Services Team on 01689 891454 to find out more.
