Lump Sum promotion (closing date 31st December 2020)

    1. This promotion is only open to current and former members of the police service and their eligible family members (see ‘Eligibility’).
    2. To qualify for the extra 1% promotion a new lump sum of at least £20,000 must be invested or transferred to a Metfriendly Lump Sum ISA and/or With-Profit Bond. The £20,000 can be split between partners / children living at the same address, and between Lump Sum ISAs and With Profit Bonds. If funds are sent in more than one transaction then these must be received by Metfriendly within 14 days of the first transaction and all funds must be received before 31st December 2020. The total does NOT include regular contributions to our Monthly Savings ISA, but it does include money you transfer from another ISA provider.
    3. ISA and With Profit Bond applications and monies must be received by 31st December 2020.
    4. The Sum Assured on each qualifying ISA or With Profit Bond will be 101% of the amount invested (normally 100%).
    5. The value of each qualifying Lump Sum ISA or With Profit Bond on encashment (or death) will be 1% higher than it would otherwise have been.
    6. “Rollovers” which have already had an extra 1% or 1.25% applied are not eligible for this promotion.
    7. Metfriendly reserve the right to apply a period of grace for receipt of funds of up to 7 days in the case of new investments and 14 days in respect of transfers.
    8. Metfriendly reserves the right to withdraw, amend or replace the offer without prior notification.
    9. Directors and employees of Metfriendly and their families are not eligible to take part in this promotion.

 

Lump Sum promotion (closing date 14th June 2020)

  1. This promotion is only open to current and former members of the police service and their eligible family members (see ‘Eligibility’).
  2. To qualify for the extra % promotion a lump sum must be saved/transferred to a Metfriendly Lump Sum ISA and/or With-Profit Bond:
    •   1% extra on new fund amounts totalling £20,000 and above
    •   The £20,000 can be split between partners / children living at the same address, and between ISAs and With Profit Bonds
    •   The total does NOT include regular contributions to our Monthly Savings ISA, but it does include money you transfer from another ISA provider.

    Separate funds under 2 above which together total £20,000 or more, can be received within a 30 day period and still have the 1% applied across the board, provided they are all received before the closing date.

  3. Lump Sum ISA and With Profit Bond applications and monies must be received by 14th June 2020.
  4. It would be helpful if a valid marketing tracking code could be included on each application form (electronic or paper) or quoted over the phone.
  5. The Sum Assured on each qualifying ISA or With Profit Bond will be 101% of the amount invested (normally 100%).
  6. The value of each qualifying ISA or With Profit Bond on encashment (or death) will be 1% higher than it would otherwise have been.

Community Prize Draw (27 November – 15 December 2019)

  1. This prize draw is for a £20 Amazon.co.uk voucher and only open to members of Metfriendly and those who are eligible to become a Metfriendly member. Proof of eligibility may be required.
  2. The draw is open for as long as our Community Survey is open – from 12 noon 27th November 2019 – 12 noon 15th December 2019. The winner will be contacted by 20th December by email.
  3. The winner will be drawn at random by Metfriendly. If the person selected declines the prize, then the draw will be repeated until an eligible person accepts the prize.
  4. In the event of winning, you will need to confirm your email address, where the voucher can be sent.
  5. No cash alternative will be offered.
  6. Directors and employees of Metfriendly and their families are not eligible to take part in this prize draw.
  7. Metfriendly’s decision will be final.
